Minnesota State Fair 2025

We took last Friday off for our annual visit to the Minnesota State Fair. First stop, as usual, was for cookies!

Folk Fest on film 2025

I'll put these up here too, although I don't think they turned out as well as last year's. I'm not sure if it was the type of film I used (ISO 400 vs 200) or the haze in the air from the wildfires, but these are just not as crisp or bright for some reason.

V in Italy

Veronica traveled to Italy with the Girl Scouts for a week earlier this month. I feel weird posting her photos, so I'm only going to give you one. Mostly, I just want to mark it on our family timeline. It sounded like an incredible trip!

Summer band

I was proud of my buddy for joining the summer band program put on by the school district. He met for practice with his fellow percussionists four days a week during the month of July.

They performed on a stage at Valley Fair last Friday and were able to enjoy the park during the afternoon. The night before that, they held a concert at Mounds View high school for families.

It was a big group and Omri was in the back row.
