Omri: year one slideshow
I put together this compilation of photos of our sweet little boy in a similar vein to the ones I made for Veronica's first three years. (And now I need to stop looking through the archives in case I find more favorites I missed.)

Veronica: year two slideshow
Here is a chronological photo slideshow of Veronica's second year (ending in October 2012). It makes a good double feature with the slideshow from her first year if you want to see how much she changed since birth. I had a lot of difficulty narrowing down these photos, but I think these are my favorites, with an emphasis on close-ups.
I strongly encourage viewing it on the Vimeo page with the HD setting turned on, but I'll include the embed below as well.

Veronica: year one slideshow
Veronica turns two years old next week! I finally got around to putting together a slideshow of photos from her first year. So, yes, I'm about a year behind schedule on that.
This is definitely a no-frills piece of work -- simply photos strung together in chronological order and set to possibly sappy yet hopefully still tenderly appropriate music.
The difficulty of this project was in selecting the photos. In order to keep the numbers down I had to add some constraints to the process. For instance, with a couple exceptions, I didn't include photos containing anyone other than V. I even made a last minute decision to leave grandparents (sorry!) and myself on the cutting room floor. The symmetry of the bookends with momma and a cupcake, however, was too perfect to leave out. There is also, obviously, an emphasis on close-ups so that you can see the details of V's face change over the course of the year. This meant excluding some of my favorite wider shots that just didn't contain enough V.
I'm quite pleased to have this memento and am looking forward to starting the next one as soon as next week!
