Valley Fair 2026

We had another fun time at Valley Fair. I maybe had a little less fun because I was recovering from surgery (six days prior) but still fun!

Our friends joined us again this year!

Dan and Veronica were the only ones brave enough to ride the swings this year. They took this photo while they were on the ground and had to simulate being scared:

Valley Fair 2025

We had a fun time with friends at Valley Fair on Sunday!

 

It was a hot day, so we spent a chunk of our time at the water park too (not pictured).

R and I made it onto The Wild Thing this year, probably the first time in close to 30 years! Veronica went on the Corkscrew twice and everybody loved the High Roller.

Valley Fair 2023

We made it to Valley Fair earlier this month for a fun kick-off to summer! We were wearing flip-flops because we knew we'd be getting wet. It was a really hot day.

V and I went on this very tall swing ride, which was scarier than I expected!

Omri conquered his fears by going on the infamous Corkscrew for the first time.

Not pictured, but R and I tried Steel Venom. I'm not even sure how to describe it (part rollercoaster, part free-fall?). It was wild!

Florida wrap-up

As nice as it was NOT hauling my big camera around all around Disney World, I am missing the higher quality results I would have gotten with it. Oh well, at least we still have a record from the trip.

Animal Kingdom

Magic Kingdom

After a day of rest, we had probably our biggest, longest day at the Magic Kingdom.

The photo below was from what was probably our favorite ride in all of Disney World, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It was sort of like Space Mountain on steroids. The train gets pushed backward by the Big Bang at one point, revolves around the moon, and zooms around in the dark to some fun pop rock tunes. We went on it twice, and unfortunately Omri's face was hidden in both of the photos (the one below might have been my fault). Omri fell in love with roller coasters thanks to this ride!
