iPhone fun, part 2: video
Even more fun than photos on the iPhone is video on the iPhone. I started compiling some clips from here and there. I'm doing all of the editing on the phone itself and the software is a bit limited (especially when it comes to audio mixing), so I'm allowing myself to be less exact than usual and trying to be okay with that. The important part here is the cute baby!

iPhone fun, part 1: photos
R got me (and herself) an iPhone for Christmas... and it is awesome. The best part is that I will now always have a decent camera with me pretty much wherever I go. The worst part is that the camera isn't as "decent" as my SLR. So just a word of warning: you may notice a slight drop in photo quality on this site. However, it should be worth it to see some shots that I may have otherwise missed...

Homemade studio
In order to avoiding falling into (continuing?) a photographic rut, I put together a slightly more elaborate photo shoot in our living room on Saturday morning. Unfortunately, by the time I got it set up, I only had five minutes with a happy baby and we were really only able to fit in a single pose. But it was a worthy experiment. I'm quite proud of these shots:
This last one is not terribly flattering, but it makes me smile in a major way! You can tell she is getting hungry at this point in the shoot :-).
