Glamping getaway
R and I had a really nice weekend staying in a Getaway cabin up in Willow River, MN.
The place was tiny, but it had a big bed and a big window:
We hiked in Banning State Park:
It was chilly outside, so downtime in the cabin was a welcomed retreat.
We also went out for a couple of dinners, we had a campfire, and I explored the area with my film camera a bit. It was wonderful. Thank you to Grandma Linda for watching the kids!

Halloween 2022
Halloween was fun this year. We had a happy ghost and a character from Ghenshin Impact named Sayu:
The weather was so warm that we didn't need to wear winter jackets over costumes for the first time in years.
I don't have more photos from the neighborhood because I stayed back to hand out candy from our station pictured here:

Pumpkin carving 2022
How wonderful was it to have warm enough weather to be able to carve pumpkins outside comfortably? Grandpa R was with us too.
My goal for future carvings is to pick out the most deformed pumpkin I can find and build off of that. This one had a natural backward lean, so I added to the droop:
This pumpkin perfectly fits within Omri's style. It looks like one of his drawings. I love it!
