This is not necessarily my favorite photo of my grandma, but it is one I haven't posted yet. She passed away on Friday at 90 years old. She was a hard-working, loving, generous person and a faithful visitor of this blog. She will be missed.
A friend of ours from Santa Barbara named Brooke passed away last week due to a head injury. She was five years old.

My computer malfunctioned last week and its fate now sits in the hands of the Geek Squad. If they recover everything, I'm going to give them a credit in my movie, which was nearly complete, by the way.
R's grandma and grandpa both passed away over the short span of the last four days. This is usually a joyful blog, but I wanted to share the sad news since our thoughts have been on them this weekend.
I had the privilege of meeting George and Margaret on a handful of occasions, and they were such sweet and charming people.
