Business trip blur

I was in Minneapolis for work last week. Veronica helped me pack.


It was a sad good-bye, but the flight was beautiful.


I went to a Twins game with my dad and brother.  There's an alternate pic here.


Two nights later I went to another game with my nephew Ezra.


Brian and Chelsea were there too.


You can see I had fun playing with some new camera apps on my phone.  Here are a few over-stylized shots of the city:






I also took a ride down the St. Croix river with my work team.  It was a gorgeous Minnesotan evening.






The iPhone can't quite replace the optics of an SLR, but sometimes it gets pretty close.  I just need to learn some restraint when it comes to using all of the bells and whistles at once.


In the end, I missed my girls immensely, so I was glad to head home.

Music at the ranch

The nanny is out this week and Grandma and Grandpa F are in.

Last night we had some wine and listened to live music outside the Stow House in Goleta.


Veronica was really interested in watching all the little kids running around.
