Thank you, Mike!
My father-in-law did us a huge favor by leading our deck replacement project and also doing the largest portion of the manual labor himself. We very much appreciate him doing all this for us!
We used composite boards, which should save us some maintenance in coming years.
We're looking forward to eating many meals outside this summer.
We don't have a hose hooked up yet so, thankfully, the rain filled up Veronica's water table.

Easter and deck construction

V's basket was hidden in her favorite hide-and-go-seek spot... It was the last place she thought to look. She got a baseball glove!
Our Easter weekend was largely consumed by a home improvement project. Grandpa R was in town to lead us through replacing the floor boards of our deck. More on this in my next post...

Train table
We bid on and won a hand-crafted train table at a fund raising event for Veronica's school.
It came with a bunch of trains, tracks, bridges, etc.
