Minnesota mega-post
Our darling Veronica took her first tour of Minnesota last week, stopping to see many loving family members and friends along the way. I had to work Monday - Friday in Minneapolis, so I missed out on a big chunk of it, but we still ended up with quite a few photos. Here are some favorites...
Our first stop was to see some good friends, Emily and Brian, and their son Walter, who was born two months after Vera (but is remarkably the same size as her). Vera showed him how to disco.
Then she visited with Grandma M...
... And had plenty of time over the week to bond with her big cousin Ezra.
Here are Auntie Chelsea and cousin Ezra reading a book:
Vera found all kinds of new things to put in her mouth on this trip:
At this point, I had to leave for work, so R became responsible for photo coverage. She doesn't take nearly as many shots as I do, but she snapped some good ones.
Here our lovely daughter looks like a true Minnesotan wearing her new Hackensack sweatshirt, a gift from Grandma:
It was her first time meeting Auntie Chelsea. They had much fun together.
Likewise with Grandpa R. As a side note, I'm sorry I missed out on his epic breakfasts on this trip.
I met up with my girls again in Eveleth. It is unbelievable how much I missed them.
The next morning Vera got some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa F.
Here she is holding hands with her similarly-aged second cousin, B:
Grandpa F wanted to hold Vera a lot. And he did.
She was quite the popular little girl on this trip.
Then her cousin Ellie came on the scene and they had to share the attention.
Here's another one of Ellie playing in the snow:
Vera also met Uncle Trevor for the first time:
Here's the guy with both of his nieces:
Auntie Katie (pictured below) is expecting a new baby soon. We are all excited!
It was great seeing Ellie again.
Meeting Great Grandma was a pretty special moment:

Vera was so smiley on this trip.
I loved seeing my parents with her.
One last one with Grandma F before we were on our way:
And one more with Grandpa F:
Great Auntie Gloria and Great Uncle Jack put us up for the night before our flight home. I'm so glad we had the chance to introduce them to our little girl.
Vera handled all of the travel very well. She made us proud.
Thank you so much to all of our gracious hosts on this trip. It is difficult being away from you.
My apologies if you weren't pictured above. We will get you next time!
