Father's Day weekend 2020
Glad I got to see my dad on Father's Day this year (photo by Veronica):
I also enjoyed this beer and cheese tasting at home, courtesy of my lovely wife (she also took the photo):
My niece and nephew, Elise and Tyler, stayed with us Friday and Saturday nights, so it was nice to see them too.
On top of all that, I got out for a jog, watched Knives Out, and visited my newest nephew (photos forthcoming). It was a good weekend. Read more...

Release
Releasing a butterfly into the world is an appropriate metaphor for the end of the school year or the loosening of quarantine restrictions. The metamorphosis could represent the change our country is (hopefully) undergoing right now.
We witnessed this guy grow from a tiny black speck (smaller than you see here)...
.... to a large caterpillar (also not seen here)...
... to a painted lady butterfly (seen here on a slice of orange):
