Engaged

Happy 13th anniversary to my lovely partner in life. To mark the occasion on this blog, here's one of our lesser seen engagement photos, taken in Alabama in 2004:

The photo is by One Fine Day Photography, who, it's nice to see, is still in business!

FIGHT!!!

I've been selling some of my old toys on Ebay, including this wresting ring for my M.U.S.C.L.E. action figures. (I got $76 for it, by the way.) When I was packing it up to ship, the kids and I had this idea for a photo. We spent five minutes taking it, so it's not perfect but still kind of fun!

Snowy weekend

For the record, we measured 18 inches of snow on our patio table.

Ukulele jam with Grandma

This is pretty sweet. Grandma Linda is back from her winter in Arizona and she and Veronica played their ukuleles together.

Early step in the week's egg salad production process

This may be egg overkill, but here's a look at our dying session:

Blood?

V going for a two-tone:

I'll be honest: we've had some tempers flaring the last couple of days--I don't know if it's cabin fever settling in or what--so I was relieved that egg dying went smoothly. We needed some happy time together!
