Florida wrap-up

As nice as it was NOT hauling my big camera around all around Disney World, I am missing the higher quality results I would have gotten with it. Oh well, at least we still have a record from the trip.

Animal Kingdom

I guess I didn't take a lot of pictures at the Animal Kingdom despite some really cool surroundings. That's me trying to be more present. Here's the Photo Pass shot of us in front of Mount Everest:

Magic Kingdom

After a day of rest, we had probably our biggest, longest day at the Magic Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom Lodge

After two very full days at parks, we thankfully had a rest day at our resort. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I didn't have any kind of zoom lens with me so photos of the animals were limited.

We had a great dinner at the lodge as well. These were the toppings for the naan:

Epcot

Our second full day was spent at Epcot. Here we are in front of Paris:

The photo below was from what was probably our favorite ride in all of Disney World, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It was sort of like Space Mountain on steroids. The train gets pushed backward by the Big Bang at one point, revolves around the moon, and zooms around in the dark to some fun pop rock tunes. We went on it twice, and unfortunately Omri's face was hidden in both of the photos (the one below might have been my fault). Omri fell in love with roller coasters thanks to this ride!

Hollywood Studios

These photos from Florida are going to be kind of a mess. We have some that were taken by photographers at the park (usually the ones that include me in them), some taken with my cell phone, and some taken by automated cameras on the rides. I did not bring my Canon (big camera) to the parks.

Our first day was spent at Hollywood Studios, which included Galaxy's Edge:

      

We were up at sunrise to hit some rides:

This was taken at the start of The Rise of the Resistance, one of the more memorable rides from the day. The kids look like holograms:

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror was a favorite. This was the one ride we didn't get Omri on, but Veronica rode it twice, once with R and once with me.
