SB living
We stayed on the second floor of this cool place, three blocks off of State Street, which made it really easy to walk to coffee shops and restaurants. The beach was only eight blocks away too.
There was this odd day bed too. Omri slipped and hit his head on the floor before this photo was taken. I think he was enjoying the attention:

SB eats
After seeing friends, our next priority for this trip was to hit our favorite restaurants. The Boathouse on Hendry's Beach was our first stop once we got off the plane:
The Padaro Beach Grill is a must:
Omri and I hit the Habit Burger on State Street while the ladies went to a middle school play:
We went to a different coffee shop each morning. Here Veronica is drinking a latte from Dune Roasters (formerly known to us as The French Press):
TAP Thai has moved out to Goleta (the third location that we followed them to):
We went to the Shoreline Cafe twice. Omri had a rootbeer float both times:
There were other restaurants too, but you know what, I didn't capture them all and that's okay. Read more...

We even had a 15-year reunion with the Newcomers club that we belonged to. We met up at the Mission's rose garden where there just happened to be an actual Newcomers meet-up happening, so we borrowed their sign for this photo:

These girls have grown up and have little brothers now:
Here's another guy Omri's age. These two were born after we moved away, but they still have known each other a long time.
And who could forget our old neighbors.
