A few more from Avalanche Ranch

Just wanted to post a few more shots from where we stayed. This was our second time at Avalanche Ranch (near Carbondale, Colorado), and it worked out well for such a big group.

Pride celebration

R's cousin and her partner usually celebrate Pride in Denver the weekend the reunion was being held, so instead they through a little celebration at the ranch. I was on the scene for photos.

We brought a face painting kit:

Veronica was absent on another 8-mile hike with her cousin and uncle but eventually showed up to draw on peoples' faces:

Taco night

Avalanche Ranch has this great communal outdoor space where we had a group dinner of tacos and other fixings.

Since we had everyone together, we also took the group photo. (I had to borrow a tripod, and it was missing a screw. To keep the camera from tilting down, I had to shove most of a deck of cards between the moving parts. I am thankful I still got the shot!)
