Apparently, R's outfit here is a reference to the first episode of Gilmore Girls, in which the teenage girl starts at a new private school. I applaud the commitment.

First day of 1st and 5th
Omri still looks half asleep. You'll notice this year's photo was not taken at the school. That's because the bus is picking them up this year for the first time. (However, it was running half an hour late on the first two days, so R ended up driving them in anyway.)

First day of kindergarten and fourth grade
The start of the school year looked a little different this year... I tried to get a shot of the kids without their masks too, but Veronica was not supportive. Apparently it's not cool to have your photo taken by your parents any more. Oh well, this one represents the times better anyway.
