Active winter weekend
Perhaps inspired by the Oympics, we spent last weekend up north, taking advantage of some relatively "not as cold as usual" weather to try some snow sports.
Veronica went skiing for the first time:

She also made it up the chair lift twice for some thrilling trips down bigger hills:
It was actively snowing the whole we were there, so R and I took advantage of the situation and did some skiing ourselves. You can't even see the background because the snow was so heavy!

Arguably the best part of going outside is drinking hot chocolate when you come back in:
Playing with cousins is also fun:
And it wouldn't be a true Minnesotan weekend if you didn't cook up some fish taken from the lake just outside. The girls helped with the breading:
