Winter escape 2017: Day 3
Day 3 had a slow start.
And then a bummer when we were rear-ended in our rental car while stopped at a cross-walk (not pictured).
After almost three hours of dealing with the police and car rental company, we finally made it into Old San Juan.
The buildings are very colorful there.
So are the streets.
And some of the buildings are really worn down. This one had trees growing inside of it:
This appears to be a step down from the Hilton:
This city is a photographer's dream.
It's also an ice cream lover's dream.
The kids loved the pigeons (the rest of us tried to avoid them).
We walked a bunch on day 3.
And checked out an old fort named Castillo de San Cristóbal.
The kids were getting pretty worn out by this time.
Cooling off in the dungeon:

Love that smile:
Old San Juan was beautiful. We'll return one more time before the end of the trip.
