Veronica's class had the assignment of writing an original poem and performing it in front of an assembly hall full of people. She kept the subject secret from us until we saw her on stage. It is called "First Best Friend", and it is pretty special.

Skates and skis

We were finally able to start on some of our outdoor winter activities!

We spent a long time at the rink last weekend.

And ski practice was moved to a park where they make snow. We skied a long way... the kids were dropping like flies:
