We were lucky enough to get to see Tia Chelsea and Ezra perform in a stage production of The Diary of Anne Frank in Bemidji.
Featuring Veronica and the back of some guy's bald head (I didn't have the best vantage point for the concert). Clips of the band and choir are intermingled to keep things interesting.
Omri and R were able to go to a Minnesota United FC soccer game Wednesday night on R's company. I didn't take this photo because I wasn't there, but it sounds like they had a fun time!

It was nothing too fancy--we grabbed some subs and had a picnic at Tamarack Nature Center--but it was nice to break out of our routine and enjoy some decent weather.
Well, our tradition of surprising mom in bed with coffee and gifts this year was moved to the couch because Omri was not feeling well, and Veronica slept in a bit (although she put effort into get up earlier than usual on a weekend). We also skipped church due to the illness, but we had a tasty take-and-bake brunch at home. Life has been a little crazy lately, so we'll take the quiet days at home when we can get them. These kids are lucky to have a mom who prioritizes them and is more in touch with them emotionally than I can claim to be. Happy Mother's Day to R and to our fantastic moms as well!
R and I got away for one night in Red Wing, Minnesota. It rained pretty much the whole weekend (just like our wedding day), so we didn't get out to explore much, but it was a relaxing getaway with some good food/drinks.
