Outdoor meet-up with Grandma

Grandma Linda drove down to see us at a park.

We took a nice, long walk. V took a scooter:

The weather was decent, so it was great to get some outdoor time.

Thanksgiving 2020

Like many other events this year, Thanksgiving was low-key. Low-key is also low stress, so I rather enjoyed it. But it was a bummer not to see extended family, especially for the kids who would have really loved some time with grandparents and cousins.

The weather worked out well for a morning Turkey Trot:

Our meal was amazing thanks to the Colossal Cafe's take-and-bake options. I only made the glazed the carrots and cranberry sauce.

I'm thankful for these three and for our health:

Thanks, Grandpa!

The Star Destroyer

Omri and I are just a little bit proud of our latest creation, a cardboard replica of a Star Destroyer from Star Wars.

This was not made from a kit. Rather, we just looked at pictures of the ship from the movies and crafted it out of cardboard and hot glue.

We tried not to worry about making things perfect (and it definitely is not). We had a lot of fun with the project.

Halloween 2020

Veronica (and R) tested negative for Coronavirus, so we went ahead with some limited trick-or-treating. I stayed back to monitor our candy dispensing situation on the driveway.

We had a glow stick girl and a ninja this year:

It was Omri's fourth year in a row of being a ninja, although he changed to the color blue this time:

Veronica's costume looked better in the dark:

Here it is in motion:

Smith Smith also made an appearance... He was happy to acquire some chicken stock:
