Artrageous week
Veronica started summer camp (located at her school) last week. The week had an art theme and culminated in an art show. She made a coaster, a necklace, and this beautiful blanket:
Here she's playing with a table full of Legos:
This week they are cooking over a fire and taking some hikes. She's enjoying camp so far. Read more...

Tea for two
This seems appropriate for Father's Day. I took these with the tripod last weekend to enter a photo contest with the theme "Dad at the tea party." We didn't win but at least I get to keep these shots out of the deal.

And a slightly more flamboyant one...
Oh well, maybe next time. Read more...

Nathan's grad party
My brother-in-law (aka Uncle Nate) graduated from high school this spring. We attended his celebration at Itasca State Park last weekend.
Here's a recent picture of the dude:
His dad grilled up some authentic Mexican tacos.
And baked a cake.
V attacked the piñata with fierceness and determination.
Eventually she had to roll up her sleeve and reach in for some candy.
Nathan missed the piñata but took off the top of a partygoer's head.
(Disclaimer: nobody was hurt at the grad party.)
Eventually another young guy knocked the thing off its rope.
Great uncle David flew in from Alaska for the party. V introduced him to smart phones:
Nate with his mom and really tall dad:
And some extended family:
Congrats Nate! Good luck at the U of M this fall! Read more...
