On Sunday we went to down to the beach with Grandma and Grandpa for lunch and to play in the sand.
My parents were in town for the weekend. Unfortunately, Vera was feeling a little under the weather and was low on energy much of the time :-(. But she was such a good sport about being sick and sure enjoyed all of the attention! She didn't want to leave her grandparents' laps! This was unusual because lately we haven't been able to keep her inside the house, let alone sitting still. Maybe this was her attempt at keeping them here.
Veronica's favorite book is currently "Goodnight, Gorilla" and she makes the cutest little gorilla noise, so on Monday I took her to the zoo to look at the real thing.

Getting coffee is not the five-minute walk it used to be.
We biked down to get some breakfast at the beach on Saturday morning.
Hope everybody had a great Valentine's Day! We have been sick... and not sleeping well... and busy, but we still enjoyed the holiday. Here's a little love:
