Good-bye, 2011

Hey everybody. We've been off of work all week and taking a bunch of photos, but I haven't been on the computer much to post them. For one thing, my computer is not functioning well these days and the whole photo editing/uploading process has slowed down. Additionally, each time I sit at my desk, V-bean wants to join me and pound on the keyboard. It's cute but not conducive to blogging :-).

But I wanted to get one final photo posted during 2011, so here you go:

I'd also like to post some thoughts about the year and plans for the next one over on Midnight Toast, but I don't think we're going to make the midnight deadline... I'll give you a rain check.

One year photos

I've been waiting until our Christmas cards were sent and received before posting this link because they include a couple of photos from the set and I wanted them to appear fresh when they arrived in (some of) your mailboxes. These are the professional shots we had taken the week of V's birthday back in October:

Kacie Jean Photography did an amazing job. I really love the warm colors and all of the smiles she managed to capture. R picked out the song for the slideshow, and it is a perfect choice. My heart melts each time I watch this.

November visit to MN

I had to be in Minneapolis for work last week, so R and V-bean came along and we turned it into a visit with loved ones back home.

V had so much fun seeing everybody and playing with their toys!

We met up again at Wally's house in Mound before flying out. It's very cool to see these kids growing up before our eyes.
